Terms and Conditions

The Terms of Service and Conditions of the scientific article publisher, Journal BiNET (journalbinet.com), are as follows:

1. Ownership & Governance

  • Management: The website is operated and managed by Journal BiNET and its associated publisher, the Bioscience Information Network.

  • Legal Status: Journal BiNET does not publish under a traditional registered scientific society or foundation. Instead, the online ISSN of each journal is registered to its executive editor(s) and governed by national and international editorial board members.

  • Revenue: Any form of revenue generated is looped back to manage and run the website. The executive editors work on a not-for-profit purpose.

2. User Conduct & Resource Use

  • Responsible Use: By accessing Journal BiNET's resources (articles, reviews, etc.), visitors, authors, reviewers, and editors agree to use them strictly for their intended purposes, compliant with applicable laws and the Creative Commons licenses utilized by the journals.

  • Liability for Misuse: Users are solely responsible for any consequences, losses, or damages incurred due to unauthorized activities, which can result in civil or criminal liability. We do not take responsibility for any legal liability.

  • Communication Tools: While open communication tools (like social sharing and comments) may be available, the platform does not pre-screen all user-posted content. Unresolved disputes or confusion will be decided finally by the executive editors.

3. Submission Guidelines & Plagiarism

  • Author Responsibility: Authors (specifically the corresponding author) are entirely responsible for the content of their submitted and published articles. Authors are legally liable for published article content; we do not take any responsibility on scientific issues or concerns.

  • Exclusivity: Authors are strictly prohibited from submitting manuscripts that are currently under consideration, have been submitted elsewhere, or have already been published.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Platform Materials: All website materials (text, graphics, logos, website names, code, and images) are the intellectual property of Journal BiNET and are protected by trademark and copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or transmission of this content is strictly prohibited.

  • Licensing: Published journals operate under Creative Commons licenses, and author copyrights are transferred to the publisher for development purposes.

5. Payment Policies & Refunds

  • Payment Discrepancies: If technical issues occur during online, bank, or courier payments, users must report the problem and allow at least 10-30 working days for a resolution.

  • Refund Policy: If an author pays the processing and publication fee but the article is ultimately rejected, a maximum refund of 45% is allowed (after deducting manuscript processing fees). Refunds will be processed within 45 to 90 days from the payment date. No refund is granted if the manuscript is flagged for severe plagiarism.

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • Liability of Published Content: The content, accuracy, and opinions expressed in the articles are entirely the responsibility of the respective authors. Neither the publisher, the editors, the reviewers, nor the management of the journal holds liability for the views or findings published in the articles.
